May/June- Nepal:
I last wrote to you halfway through my 5 weeks in Nepal! I am happy to report that my last few weeks of squad leader training and debrief went really well! (My time in Nepal was focused on training a new leadership team, spending time with my squad, followed by a debrief early June.)
(My new team leaders and squad leaders dinner.)
Debrief was a great time of rest, reflection, and refocus for the squad. We were able to have a few joint teachings and worship sessions with another World Race squad, D-Squad! It was a blast being able to come together as one body to worship and bring glory to God.
(Jake and Ari leading worship and communion at our joint teaching session with D-Squad.)
During debrief my coaches, Kathy and Matt, surprised me by signing us up for an Everest Flight, a tour of Mt. Everest via small plane. Seeing the Everest range was breathtaking! I could not help but sing Amazing Grace to myself the entire time.
(Mt. Everest- “For the heavens declare the glory of God, the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” Psalms 19:1)

June/July/August- Georgia, Idaho, Wyoming, Georgia:
Not long after returning home from Nepal, I launched into working a Training Camp at the World Race office. This Training Camp (TC) was a Gap Year TC which means that the participants are 18-20 and on the field for 9 months (a school year). I was sooo blessed to work this Gap Year TC. It was so encouraging to see 300 young adults worship and seek after God. They were hungry for the realness of Jesus to be in their lives. Some of them made decisions to follow Christ for the first time as their own decision and not simply out of family tradition. It was so cool to witness God move in their hearts and reveal himself!
(Worship night during TC)
After Training Camp I headed to Boise, Idaho to visit family and supporters. My family went camping at the Tetons and Yellowstone. It was an incredible time to catch up and love on my family.

- August and Beyond!
I am currently preparing for my next journey to see my squad for another debrief! I leave August 22 and return on September 18th. I will be in the countries Azerbaijan (google it), Georgia, and Turkey.
Please pray for God’s movement on my squad and on everyone they meet.
Please pray for safety and direction as we seek out the lost and hurting.
Love you all and thank you for your continued prayers and support! <3
