Hello all!
Lots has happened since my last update! I have closed out one chapter by attending Fusion 3’s Final Debrief (the group I lead earlier this year) and opened the next chapter with Expedition G-Squad’s Training Camp (the group I will lead next year). This transition has been challenging but oh so good.
Training camp was two weeks of nonstop in October. It was the first time I got to meet my Expedition squad all in person. It was great getting to know them and hearing their hearts for God and people. They are very eager and teachable. I am confident they will all do well next year on this grand adventure called the World Race!
(The peeps.)
During training camp we aim to prepare the squad physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We have morning workout challenges and a mandatory hike with their pack. We desire to see our squad physically healthy so that they will be able to go anywhere God calls them to go and not be bound by physical conditions. We also enjoyed teachings designed to grow us as individuals by reflecting and working through internal healing in any areas of brokenness in our past or current experiences. The racers learn very practical information about life on the race. They learn about cultural sensitivities, feedback, community, how to share about Jesus cross culturally, and much more!

Mid November I flew over to Antigua, Guatemala for Fusion 3’s Final Debrief! It was fantastic to see them again and to celebrate all that God has done in them and through them this past year! They are all ending in a really good healthy place. They are ready to enter back into their home countries and to continue to live for Christ and point others to Him daily. They ended with energy, excitement for the future and lots of love for each other and God.

Fusion 3, it was a HUGE blessing to be a part of your squad. Love you all to the moon and back! <3
You seem so busy….. 😉
